My 100th post! Yakezie Challenge Recap

The BIG 100! It’s been 4 months since I joined the Yakezie Challenge. I have until July 15th to get my Alexa traffic rank to 200,000 or under. Here’s how far I’ve come:

The numbers seemed to plummet at first but lately it’s been slowing down as I get closer to my goal. I had never blogged before I started Budget for Health and I have had so much fun meeting new people and writing content that benefits people’s health and finances. To celebrate my 100th post I thought I’d share my own blogroll. I’ve included posts I’ve had the most fun with and posts that were read the most by my readers. If you think any of the following are worth sharing with family or friends then by all means share the love and click the Tweet, Facebook, G+ or whatever button you want at the top of each article!

  1. Congratulations on the consistent posting and the quick drop! You have definitely become one of my favorite writers (I love your style and information), and whenever I come to your site, I am usually here for a long time.

Let me know if I can ever do anything to help you out!

    1. I’ll say the same about you! any tips that worked well to get your rank below 200k? If you ever want to write a guest post let me know, I’m sure my readers will be just as encouraged as I have been by your site

      1. Thank you! That means a lot coming from you. You definitely have an open offer to guest post on my site whenever you want.

As far as Alexa, the main thing to do to lower your rank is to network with other people. I used to have a weekly roundup of my favorite articles (on my main site, not the weight loss one), and I would be sure to leave thoughtful comments as well. Also, I made sure to have the toolbar on every browser that I use (at work, home, and even my wife’s laptop).
